Who We Are

We are a group of people wishing to make a difference in the world of outdoor recreation. All of us have many different experiences with outdoor recreation and have different perspectives on the challenges of outdoor recreation today. We strive to create an open-minded environment that encourages awareness, discussion, and action, to protect our recreational lands.

Meet Our Board

Even though we all have different titles, we are always collaborating on everything we do. We take our positions very seriously and work hard to spread our message, educate, and take action.

We all have one (if not multiple) full time jobs as we do not take any compensation for our board positions so that all of our money can go towards spreading our message and making a difference.

President

Alexandria

Alexandria founded the MWRA as the Idaho Overland Association, but quickly realized that she wanted to reach further. Alex goes above and beyond for the MWRA by attending events all over the area to spread our message and collaborating with numerous other organizations.

Not only is Alex an insurance agent in Idaho Falls, she also manages her own store and is a Leave No Trace Trainer.

Secretary

Kristina

Kristina is fantastic at keeping the rest of the board on track, on time, and organized. she is wonderful at reaching out to other business in search of opportunities for collaboration and partnerships.

Kristina travels a lot for her job and gets to see other areas of the country that inspire her to protect what we have here.

Not only does Kristina help the MWRA but she also has her own business where she helps others get outdoors and find themselves.

Treasurer

Elaine

Not only does Elaine manage the financials of the organization, she also updates the website, helps with event coordination, and designs.

Elaine is currently a surgical technician in Star Valley Wyoming. In her spare time she likes to hike, camp, xc ski, and take photographs.

Community Outreach Coordinator

Amanda

Amanda helps the MWRA plan events and develop the best ways to support various communities. She has always kept us grounded and makes sure we don't get side-tracked.

Apart from her job at INL, she also has another business where she supports travelers and promotes responsible recreation.
